Living in Northern NJ with my husband and my two Old English Sheepdogs, Shelby and Wonton, writing is a way for me to take the mess of memories and thoughts I have and commit them to paper or screen in a more permanent, less forgettable medium. We all have family dramas and I found that over time, trying to remember and keep some kind of order to the years of ‘stuff’ happening to me and around me was causing me a lot of stress and anxiety. Sometimes I would create Mnemonic phrases to help me remember the order of events or people involved. It got really crowded in my own head. So I started to write some of these things down. And I kept writing. And now here I am with my own blog and my own little portfolio of work and you, curious reader, are reading this. Feel free to explore, to comment and to think about writing your own stories to get them out of your own head.
